In Memory Of My husband was diagnosed December 20th of 2006 and it had already spread to his liver, colon, bones; Dr. Johlin in Iowa City told us it was everywhere. Dr. Berg was our oncologist and we did chemo once. It made Russ so sick that it was not possible for him to even do chemo. He died in the Clarissa C Cooke Hospice Home after 1 night of being there. He left behind his 17 and 14 year old sons. I am now a widow and we are numb at how aggressive this disease can be and is and that there is basically nothing that can be done. We were told to go home and enjoy the holidays. Anyway I will now fight for a cure every second of every day. |
